Life on the Peninsula show information

Qualifications:

Open to residents of Saanich School District 63 or members of the Community Arts Council of the Saanich Peninsula (www.cacsp.com) .

Artwork considered:

• Only 2D work will be allowed. Work must be able to hang on a nail/picture hanger.
• Artwork represents artist’s interpretation of ‘Life on the Peninsula’
• Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.
• Work is to be complete when presented for selection (no wet paint, ready to hang)

This is a show, not a sale. The Sister Cities Association will prepare and submit paperwork to allow passage through US and Canadian customs.

The Sister Cities Associations of Sidney, BC and Anacortes, WA invite you to participate in a show of work by residents of the Saanich Peninsula.

Call to Artists

The purpose of the Salish Sea Art Exhibit is to foster friendship and strengthen cultural bonds between the Salish Sea Sister Cities of Sidney and Anacortes. The theme for the show by Sidney area artists is:

Life on the Peninsula

The show will be held at the Depot Art Center in Anacortes, WA from November 5-7, 2015.

Submission Deadlines: 

Expression of interest:                        August 18, 2015

Selection of Artwork:                          August 26, 2015

Notification of Artists:                         August 27, 2015

Show artwork drop off:                       November 3, 2015
